I was so impressed with the service I received from The Book Detectives.

Lizzie asked me some questions to get to know my daughter’s likes, dislikes and interests.

My daughter was delighted with her pack. The books were beautifully written and illustrated. There was a fun activity booklet and some lovely badges.

It was a very lovely and perfect gift. I would highly recommend The Book Detectives to anyone who has book-loving children or grandchildren. I will definitely be ordering again!

My first impressions, as a parent, is that it’s such a brilliant concept. I love the branding, eco-friendly packaging and the curated contents just works so well.

It has a bit of everything to inspire and enhance (or develop) a child’s love of books! My little boy instantly said , “well this looks cool!” Upon further investigating, he genuinely loves it.

The activity “case book” is ideal and after reading One Button Benny and The Gigantic Catastrophe – it’s not become a firm favourite, bedtime story! A truly wonderful , well-thought out brand.

The Book Detectives have compiled a great box for us with 3 hand selected books for a reader who likes longer chapter books with a decent plot but isn’t quite ready for the illustrations to disappear.

The illustrations are fabulous and the body of text just right. The Book Detectives have really found what we were lacking in our book collection- thank you!

Lizzie at TBD is just amazing! Her ability to source the most amazing and engaging books in a bespoke way to suit the child who will be receiving the box is second to none.

I asked TBD to create bespoke book boxes for both of my children (one a 6 year old girl and the other a 3 year old boy) to suit their individual interests and both boxes have suited them perfectly.

My eldest was so intrigued by her books it has led her to many more questions on the topic in question.

TBD have also created many birthday bespoke boxes for me too. Children with a real wide variety of interests and abilities TBD have made the most brilliant choices every time.

Lizzie’s attention to detail is second to none. The puzzles that accompany the books are perfectly matched to the recipient.
